The DBX Arena. Originally designed and lit very simply, I've reworked everything with vibrant pinks, blues, and reds befitting the host! Lasers and fog!! Crowds galore!!!
DBX utilizes a modified Unreal flipbook system to integrate the 2D character elements directly in engine, allowing compositing within Unreal and for shadow casting, light interaction, reflections and more!
A collaboration with YouTube creator DevilArtemis as co-host, who also provided the original animation plate renders of Perfect Cell. I added rim lighting to integrate and composited the 3D character in with the 2D in-engine assets.
